Police Department Unveils Online System for Vacation Watch Requests

The La Grange Police Department is pleased to announce a new online opportunity to register closed homes or request vacation watches with the Police Department.

Using public safety software available through Frontline Safety Solutions (Frontline PSS), residents can now register closed homes or request vacation watches online.  Frontline PSS provides a user-friendly, easily-accessible, and secure way to request a special watch on your closed or vacant home.  The Vacation Watch module allows residents of La Grange to create entries of unoccupied or closed homes that they would like the Police Department to monitor while residents are away for extended periods of time.  This information becomes available in real-time to patrolling officers - saving both time and resources.

La Grange residents will still be able to request a Vacation Watch in person at the Police Department.  For more information on the Frontline PSS or to register your home for a Vacation Watch, please visit the La Grange PD Frontline website at

If you have questions regarding the Vacation Watch module contact Deputy Chief Andrew Peters at (708)579-2333 ext. 2257 or
