The Village of La Grange, Cook County, Illinois, is requesting sealed bids for the following project:

 

Lot 13 Reconstruction Project

Sealed bids for this project must be received before 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Office of the Director of Public Works of the Village of La Grange, 320 East Avenue, La Grange, Illinois 60525, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

 

It is the responsibility of the bidder to meet all requirements of the bid documents.   Specifications and complete bid documents may be examined and/or obtained without charge, at the office of the La Grange Public Works Department, 320 East Avenue, La Grange, Illinois 60525. 

 

The Village of La Grange reserves the right to modify or waive any or all formalities and technicalities in the specifications, or to reject any or all bids and/or parts thereof, and to accept that bid which it deems most favorable to the Village of La Grange.

REVISED BID NOTICE

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS BID NOTICE WAS REVISED ON APRIL 11, 2013

The Village of La Grange, Cook County, Illinois, is soliciting sealed bids from construction contractors for the following project:

Stone Avenue Train Station Renovations

Sealed bids for this contract must be received before 1:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, MAY 7, 2013, at the La Grange Village Hall, 53 S. La Grange Road, La Grange, Illinois 60525, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Copies of the bidding documents, including contract provisions and project drawings and specifications, may be examined at the La Grange Village Hall.  Bid packets may be obtained from BHFX Digital Imaging at 30W250 Butterfield Rd Warrenville, IL 60555 for a refundable deposit of $50, payable to Legat Architects.  Each bid packet includes one set of drawings, one specifications book, one CD-ROM and a complete set of bid forms and attachments.  It is the responsibility of the bidder to meet all requirements of the bid documents.

There will be a pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Stone Avenue Train Station, 701 Burlington Avenue, La Grange, Illinois.

The Village of La Grange reserves the right to accept the bid from the lowest responsible bidder most favorable to the Village, as determined by the Village.  The Village also reserves the right to reject any bid or part of a bid that does not conform to the bidding requirements or to modify or waive all formalities and technicalities in a bid, or to reject all bids.

This project is funded with federal funds.  Compliance conditions are included in the bid documents.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 3rd day of April, 2013, the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of La Grange, Illinois, voted to amend existing Rules and Regulations.  Printed copies of the amended Rules and Regulations may be obtained from the Office of the Village Clerk of the Village of La Grange, Illinois.  The amended rules and regulations shall be operable ten days from the date of publication of this Notice.
