Meals for Health Care Workers
Amita Health Center La Grange has set up a Meal Train to coordinate scheduling for those interested in providing meals to health care workers. After registering (LINK), participants can select a day and time to order food from a local restaurant, to be delivered to hospital staff.
The food pantry at St. Francis Xavier Parish (124 N. Spring Ave.) is in need of non-perishable food items, especially boxed cereal. Donations are accepted on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the side door of the rectory (parking lot side).
Beds Plus is in need of support to assist the homeless. For details on how you can donate, please visit their website (LINK).

The state of Illinois has created a dedicated webpage (LINK) that provides links to volunteering opportunities throughout the state related to COVID-19.
Interfaith Community Partners
Interfaith Community Partners provides rides to seniors and, during the COVID-19 pandemic, also provides grocery shopping services. Please visit their website (LINK) to volunteer.
Donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Any businesses or others who have Personal Protective Equipment such as N-95 masks, surgical gloves, eye protection, etc. are encouraged to donate through the State of Illinois online portal (LINK).
Illinois COVID Response Fund
The United Way of Illinois and the Alliance of Illinois Community Foundations, in collaboration with the Office of Governor JB Pritzker, have established the Illinois COVID-19 Response Fund (LINK) to raise funds to be disbursed to nonprofit organizations across the state serving individuals, families and communities hit hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic.
