Crew Leader (Water Division)
The La Grange Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Crew Leader to perform a variety of skilled tasks in the maintenance of water and sewer systems and oversee General Utility Workers within their assigned area of responsibility. Under the general supervision of the Foreman, the Crew Leader position oversees General Utility Workers in within their assigned area of responsibility.
Mechanic
The La Grange Public Works Department is seeking a full-time Mechanic to join the Public works team and perform skilled mechanical work and oversee the maintenance of Public Works mechanical equipment. Under the general supervision of the Foreman, the Mechanic position oversees all aspects of fleet maintenance for the Public Works department and maintains the Department’s well-established comprehensive vehicle maintenance and replacement program. The Mechanic is also an important member of the department’s leadership team, providing operational support to other Public Works divisions in support of Department objectives.
